This is a great bobbin for all thread materials. With the titanium insert, it will never nick and cut or fray your threads! The large size is sprung very sturdily, and applies great tension to standard size spools. One thing I noticed was the for the first pattern, a fine dust was left behind on the thread, it dissappeared shortly, after I wrapped a hook shank completely to get rid of it. After that, "tight lines"!
