The Best

Reviewer: from Wichita, KS US

I bought a pair of the scissors and these scissors are the best hair scissors that I have used. It is worth the money to spend the extra $$ and buy any of the Dr. Slick Scissors. I own multiple pairs of Dr. Slick scissors, I own other brands as well. The Dr. Slick stay sharper and cuts better then my other scissors. Thease are the best scissors that I have used.

They work... But there are better ones out there

Reviewer: from NJ US

These scissors work. But for hair, you absolutely can not beat high quality barber shears. I have Dovo mustache scissors. Theres nothing on the planet marketed towards fly fiers that comes close to comparable quality. That includes Anvil Ultimate Ice Tempered. Not even close. Just try not to use them on synthetics. Beats up the blades.

Heavy Duty

Best scissors I've ever owned for deer hair. Serrated teeth holds the hair as it cuts. Surprizing fine piont . I bought both the staight and curved pair. That says it all.

on sale

I'm ordering a second set of Dr. S. Hair Scissors while they're on sale. My first set is about 2 years old and still going strong. They are great scissors for almost everything, and as the name implies, especially hairs such as bucktail, deer hair, elk hair, squirrel tail, etc. One blade has very fine serrations, which enable the blades hold the hair while cutting instead of making it slide like many others I've used. They have surprisingly fine points for comparatively "large" scissors. I'll keep this new set tucked away until my first set wears out, if it ever does. I have more expensive scissors, but none better.

Nice for cutting large amounts of hair or material

Reviewer: from Fort Collins, CO

I use these when cutting course hair or large amounts of hair. These are more burly than standard scissors, but still are sharp and are lasting a long time.
