Perfect Bobbin

Reviewer: from Michigan

The only bobbin I own because there is no need to switch to or try another. I love the size of it because it fits perfectly in my palm, the weight is just right for tension when hanging but not too much for fatigue, and the ceramic inserts do an awesome job of preventing thread from fraying or cutting.

very good

I have totally 6 of this ceramic bobbin holder, 2x 3“ and 4x 4“. They are really nice to use. You have to take care that you adjust the right tension for your spool. The only weakness is that there are two ceramic inserts each one on both ends of the tube. I had some problems to get the thread thru the inserts but if you take a bobbin threader I can really recommend this tool.

very nice

Reviewer: from Fort Frances, ON CA

i recently purchased the 4" ceramic bobbin. its great, i love it. very smooth and easy to thread, nice and compact it fits well in your hand. it did take a little bit of getting used to but after the break in period i was nothing short of satisfied. another thing that takes some getting used to is setting the tension for different sized spools, but after that it is great. i strongly recomend it for anyone who is looking for a low priced bobbin.

my first ceramic

I have been tying with non ceramics so this was a nice upgrade! Dr. Slick tools are all good in my opinion. The arms are good quality and hold the spools with perfect tension to let thread out gently. I am breaking less thread.

Ceramic is the way to go!

Reviewer: from Baldwin City, KS US

I have been using a non-ceramic bobbin for quite awhile now and have had problems with my thread fraying and breaking. Ceramic is the way to go! No more worries. Plus, Dr. Slick makes great tools so the quality is top notch. A nice addition to my tool set.
