Excellent overall hook for almost all nymph patterns...

Reviewer: from ELK GROVE, CA USA

IMO, this hook can be your "go to" hook to cover all nymph patterns from your standards to midge and everything in between. Too often, many midge patterns want you to tie on a severely curved "midge" hooks but I have seen underwater filming of the midges when they swim towards the surface are generally straighter than being in a "fetal" position. This is an extra strong hook with minimal weighing required for fine tuning your depth control with these hooks.

Very versatile and strong nymph hook

Reviewer: from VALPARAISO, IN USA

I'm using these in #8-14 for steelhead and bass/panfish. Daiichi hooks stay sharper than Tiemco in my experience. Bend is in between round and sproat and I like the slight curve in the hook for chironomid and stonefly patterns. Smaller beads will slide over the bend OK.

Favorite versatile hooke

This is my absolute favorite, go to hook. Great for nymphs, wet flies and dries and it’s super strong.

Go to Hook for Hoppers or Large Stones

Reviewer: from Eastern, PA

Stout strong hook perfect for targeting the big boys, i use them for foam hoppers and for my larger stone fly patterns highly recommend they are strong and sharp.

Ready, Set, Catch!

Reviewer: from St Louis, MO

I purchased sizes 6, 8, and 10. There is just something about these hooks I love. They are beefy enough that they don't need much added weight to get your fly down in the water. They are definitely sturdy compared to the fine wire hooks so I am not afraid to go after those bigger fish with these. Definitely recommended.
