Improved hookup rates? 4 out of 5 stars

Reviewer: from Douglassville, PA US

I decided to try these for a couple of reasons ...
1. To make tying easier on my fat fingers
2. Thought I might see improved hookups in the smaller sizes.
I think these are a winner on both counts.

Daiichi 1130 Wide Gape Scud Hook 4 out of 5 stars

Sharp & wide. Excellent substitute for 1160 Klinkhamer Hook, they lighter! My Klinkhamer dry fly remained dry for longer. I have not tried them on the water, I hope this is a strong hook!

Daiichi quality 5 out of 5 stars

Got these to supplement my Tiemcos and J Stockards. Great quality hook for the price, wish they sold them in 100's for bulk orders though. I like them.

Excellent hook 5 out of 5 stars

Reviewer: from Minnesota

Very high quality hooks. Along with scud patterns I like to use the small hooks for midge patterns where I need beads as I find the offset doesn't interfere as much with hookups.
