super good thread

Color is right on, it lays flat, and doesn't snap off when torquing it down. I use this for glo-bugs. Would highly recommend this when tying eggs.

Good thread, lays nice and flat

Reviewer: A viewer from FORT COLLINS, CO USA

Got this in every color to make my flies just a little more detailed and ralistic. Most tyers can get by with a few basic colors. I like how flat it lays, the only drawback is it frays easy. Using care, you can make some nice looking creations.

used to use UNI

Reviewer: A viewer from Wichita, KS US

This thread is a pleasure to tie with. It's smoothness lets a whip finish knot slide on effortlessly. Color is shiny and more intense than UNI. I've used UNI 6/0 and 8/0 for years, but it's hard to go back to it now.

Terrific for "art flies" or fishing flies

Reviewer: A viewer from Barboursville, WV US

I can't imagine a better thread than Ultra 70, especially for tying classic wet flies and Atlantic salmon flies. It's strong, lays flat and comes in all the right colors. The only drawback I've found is that Ultra 70 white thread occasionally tangles on the spool. Other colors don't seem to have the problem.
