This thin (0.004" thick), plastic film is stretchable and can be used on flies down past size 18. The backing makes it easy to cut to width - great for wingcases, backs and scuds. Solid colors are opaque with a matte finish on one side and a shiny finish on the other. Mottled colors are translucent with mottling resembling the pattern on natural turkey wings. The bustard has a finer mottling pattern. 2" x 7", 1 piece per package; choose from 13 colors.

Think skin

Great product - use for hopper wings and the wing case on some nymphs like the Copper John. Can be tough to separate from the backing - a good fingernail and patience are critical!

Great stuff

Reviewer: A viewer from Carbondale, IL US

This is probably one of my favorite materials for wingcases and nymph backs. The molted colors give a great natural look. Highly recommended!

Good stuff.

This stuff is very elastic and stretches nicely over any type of material you're using. I've used it for scud backs thus far and it is very realistic looking. Haven't had a chance to fish the fly yet, but I was very impressed with the product while at the tying bench.

I'm using this stuff for the wingcase on copper johns right now. great substitute for some of the harder to find wingcase materials out there.
