New thread for me
Reviewer: A viewer from Lawrenceville, GA US
I went out of my norm and purchased two spools of Veevus thread to try it. I ordered the pink and the orange. I was really impressed with the strength and the color of the thread. It wound pretty flat and my Frenchies looked awesome with the pink thread. I will put more of this in my future orders. I cant wait till more colors come out.

I will never ty with another thread again! Strong, but thin! So easy to ty those smaller flies! I am enjoying tying again! So much better than the other threads and I have tried a lot of diffrent brands!
Super strong and thin

This thread really is as strong as advertised. Its also thinner than any comparable thread which is nice most of the time. Just be careful with rubber legs and foam. Just watch your thread tension because the strength combined with the thin diameter will slice soft materials.

It's hard to believe how thin and strong this thread can be. After years of learning how to go easy on 8/0 so it doesn't break off (and going easy on 6/0 and 3/0 so it doesn't over-bulk) along comes this stuff that you can pretty much do anything with and it forgives: extra wraps? you won't see them. Heavy tightening? go ahead, make my day. It doesn't have the greatest range of colours, but for the last year and a half, 90% of my wet flies and nymphs and dries have been tied with black, white, tan and olive Veevus, instead of the 200 or so spools of Uni, Griffiths and Wapsi in my drawer.

I got this in the red color, and I'll definitely be getting more. Excellent strength and flattens well for nice tidy wraps. Very easy to work with. Also, this thread seems to be semi-translucent, so it may make a good silk thread substitute.
