Klinkhammer joys

Reviewer: A viewer from MACGREGOR, QUEENSLAND AU

The curve of this hook really gives the Klinkhammer a new look I find. You're not having to bend another hook and the curve is natural looking. Very useful for caddis ties and shaving brush ties as well.

TMC 200R hook

Reviewer: A viewer from Modesto, CA US

This is a great hook for a variety of flies. I tie midges like the Rojo Midge on a size 20 and it is perfect. I tie stone flies on a size 10 and 12 and that works great too. This is a good nymph hook - you can't beat the shape of it and the brand is time tested.

Great for low-cost Spey and Steelhead patterns

Reviewer: A viewer from PA, NJ, ME

I use these in 4 - 10 for steelhead and Atlantic Salmon patterns; they are a great alternative to more expensive Spey hooks and have a good shape and adequate length to tie these patterns well enough to satisfy the "scrutiny" of the fish. Due to the lightness of the hook, they are probably best as low-water hook subs, but a sparsely-tied pattern will sink quite well and if you keep this in mind then you might be able to employ them to sub for heavier irons, as well.
