If you already have a Regal vise, an extra vise head with stem and swivel can let you easily change from standard size jaws to midge, big game or jumbo, without the extra expense of another complete vise. We now offer this item with a choice of any of Regal's jaw sizes. The range of hook sizes for regular jaws is 22 to 1/0; for midge, 32 to 6; for big game, 22 to 5/0; for stainless steel, 32 to 2; and for jumbo, 4/0 to 14/0. NOTE: Image shows a short stem for a pedestal base. The stem for a c-clamp base is longer. Material clip NOT included.

This vise is the best vise I ever owned. It relieves the worry of over tightening that you have with other vises. Never have to adjust it between hooks. I also love the ease to which I can repostion a hook without trouble and turn the head for different viewing angles. I would highly recomend this vise for someone looking to get a better vise or looking for an easy to use vise.
I've tied on many vises over the years, but none have stood up to the Regal. It's great to be able to switch hook sizes without having to make any adjustments and it holds hooks like no other vise. Even though this site doesn't carry the stainless steel jaws, they are the best at holding small hooks because of the slim tapered jaws.
I bought the stainless steel version of this vise. I love it. You do not have to worry about overtightening it. You can switch hooks without having to readjust it. It is really handy to be able to easily reposition a hook and be able to turn the vise head for different viewing angles. I would highly recomend this vise to anyone looking to upgrade to a better vise or getting a new vise. I have had no issues with hook holding strength at all.
The reason I bought it was for the steel jaws. I can tie large streamers or small midges without adjusting. I already have many c-clamps laying around from cheap vises. This was a great way to save money on a great vise.
