Quality made vise and a great bundle deal

Reviewer: A viewer from Chickamauga, GA US

I received my vise with material clip and D arm. All items were well packaged. The vise and the other items were very easy to set up. The base is heavy enough to anchor the vise well, and the D arm make's it a little easier and quicker to turn when your fingers are full. I have tied from size 16 to 1/0 so far and the hooks are holding wonderful. I think this vice will last me for years.

After lots of research, this was the best vise for

Reviewer: A viewer from Conyers, GA US

Looked at all the major vises I could get my hands on. In the end the pedestal base Peak was the right height off the table and felt sturdy. Being a lot less than some of the others helped too. So far I've used the standard jaws from 1/0 to 16 and haven't felt a need to explore the other jaw options. FWIW, the Renzetti Traveler, Dyna King Trekker and Griffin Montana Mongoose were the others in the final cut. Nearly went with the Dyna King due to more versatile jaws, but in reality I don't tie in the extra regions of hook sizes that would have provided so I decided to go with the Peak and use the extra money for desperately needed materials. Also I had seen mention on some of the forums where professional shops were using the Peaks and happy with them. That helped push me over the edge.

A great vise for the money

Reviewer: A viewer from West Valley City, UT US

I purchased the Peak rotary a few months ago as an upgrade to my bench to replace my starter vise and couldn't be happier. Though I tie mostly smaller patterns (say 14 and under) the standard jaws have served me quite well and I've never had any issues with the plastic tension screws. The D arm and material clips are nice additions and getting them in the package offered here is well worth the few extra bucks. I honestly don't think you can go wrong with this vise or J. Stockard!

Fantastic Product, Excellent Value

Reviewer: A viewer from Exeter, NH US

After deciding upon a vise upgrade, I carefully considered at least a dozen vises. Based on function, cost and value, I decided upon the Peak Rotary. Functional, sturdy and exceptionally built, the Peak is better designed and constructed than some of its higher priced competition. Rotary function is smooth, and I really like the positive cam action. For the price, the vise is more than functional, it is a steal.

Peak Rotary is a Keeper!

Reviewer: A viewer from Butte, MT US

I researched vices for a while and used a couple different models at tying classes. I'm very happy with my choice of the Peak Rotary vice with pedestal base. Excellent fit and finish in general and great holding power in the jaws. Assembly and adjustments are simple.
My pedestal base wobbled a bit from corner to corner when I first set it up. I switched the positions of 2 of the rubber feet and that solved the problem as it seems the feet were just a little different in thickness. I ordered the combo with material clip and D-arm as I felt that was the best value for these useful accessories. I look forward to tying flies with this vice for years to come!
