Good to have an extra hand

This works very well for holding material out of the way. I like that it will rotate with the vise. Easy to put on and take off if you want, but it never seems to be a bother to leave it on all the time. Good addition to your vise.

I actually have bought two of these. I placed them on a parachute extension so that I would have a place to stick all the feathers I needed before tying. It holds all the feathers until I need them and keeps them from getting blown off the table by fans and people walking by. Now I don't have to keep stopping to chase my feathers down while I am tying.
Does what it says

Nothing too fancy here; it works as a material clip should. However, be better than I am and read the directions before installing. The clip needs to be pushed up from the bottom of the detached vice arm. It will not strech around the arm without first disassembling.

If you're looking for a material holder for your Peak vise, this will get the job done. You get two springs (large and small) with each clip and they can be easily interchanged, or you can pick up two and have one of each size for different materials. They hold materials well and out of the way and also due to their placement on a Peak, will rotate your material with the vise when needed. They fit very tightly on the shaft, so you don't get any inadvertent rotation. They can sometimes get in the way when you're trying to get your fingers and hands around a difficult fly when they're not in use, but it's easy enough to rotate them well out of the way, hardly an inconvenience. These clips are a good, convenient accessory to have for your Peak vise.
