Mustad signature is premium for less
Reviewer: A viewer from Greenville, SC US
Many people associate mustad with a lesser quality hook. Mustad signature hooks were recommended to me when I was tying #10 eggs for chinook for a group trip. I tried them and was thoroughly impressed. I have since used the R30 for dries and loved them. In my opinion they compete if not exceed the standards of other premium brands. The bonus is that they are usually less expensive! So get premium quality for less with the signature series.

This "new" 94833 the R30, i have found that its wire to be strong, but dont horse fish in on this hook. If you used the old 94833 and didnt like the gap, then you will like these, the r30 has a wider gap for sure.
The 50% of a good dry fly

Probably, one of the best models of hooks ever selled. Its really slim but hard enough to resist our movements with the thread. The materials doesn't slip over the surface if you are a bit carefull and the sizes are perfect for trout (especially 16 and 18). The shape its great for catching trouts and its easy to work over it. And the point its just amazingly sharp (be carefull :) A great value and my favourite hooks.
Can't go wrong

Can't go wrong with Mustad hooks. I used them when I first started tying and now back at it they are still the best hooks in my book. These are great for tiny dry flies and look great when finnished. You just can not beat Mustad for quality and price for hooks.
