This high volume, low weight synthetic yarn makes great parachute posts on big flies such as Swisher's Parachute Madam X, Rubberleg Parahopper, and Parachute Stimulators. It's also great not only for wings on smaller parachute mayflies but also for large pike and saltwater patterns because it is light to cast and doesn't hold water.

Great winging material!

Reviewer: A viewer from LA QUINTA, CA USA

Despite this synthetic being on the market for a while, I don't see it referenced that often. Works as described. It's a fine choice for dry fly wings and para posts. Great selection of available colors; if you can't find the color you need, what are you tying?! Consider "Smoke" and "Silver" for medium and light dun mayfly wings, respectively. Some might find it a suitable "poor man's" EP Fibers. Apparently, dye processing has a slight effect on texture, since I notice that some colors are particularly prone to tangling. All colors I've tried are somewhat prone to this, so avoid handling with rough hands, and keep a comb handy. If tangling wasn't an issue, and if the material had more shine, I'd give it five stars.

Floats well

Reviewer: A viewer from Johnson City. TN

Used this for a body wrap on a dry fly and it is fantastic. Keeps the fly floating high with a minimal amount of treatment.
