a little goes a long way with this, and although I tend to overcoat the fly sometimes - leaving a slick on the water, it works really well. I always use the remainder on my fingers to coat the leader/tippet, and it works great for this as well.
Just the greatest

You can make a stone floatant with this great product. It doesn't smell and it doesn't leave any signal on water. As its silicone, it can be use for 'corrections' on the damaged wings, getting it back to the right position. Combined with deer hair its just 'unsinkable', but it works also with another materials, even with dubbings. It doesnôt melt in hot days, so you can use it anytime. And it last years. But don't forget to close the little bottle or your vest will be... 'unsinkable', too :)
Best Floatant Period

Without a doubt the best silicone-based gel floatant. Doesn't leave an oily slick and stays pliable through a greater range of temperatures. It also rides your dries through many hook-ups without having to reapply as often. This is the only one I'll ever buy.
