Great subtle flash

Reviewer: from Christiansburg, VA

The description says these fibers add "extreme flash" and that's true if you use a large amount of material but I have found that this material really stands out best as a subtle flash material either mixed in with another type of fiber or as an "overwing" on streamers, especially those with a reverse-tied wing. The fibers are very fine and are much more limp compared with most of the other "twisted-strand" flash fibers but they reflect a LOT of light. Really glow under the UV light as well. When tied in a tight short bundle they make for a really bright throat for a deceiver or other baitfish pattern or for a very different looking tag on a woolly worm or similar small streamer with a tag for a tail. Total length is about 8" give or take.

very fine hair

Reviewer: from NEW BRAUNFELS, TX USA

I got this in black to use as legs on some small fly pattern's I wanted to try and it works fine. It is a very fine material. Aprox. length of stand is 9". It is very limp and has a number of use's.

Great for nymphs

Reviewer: from Houston, TX

I use this as the wing on small nymphs. It adds a little bit of sparkle to the pattern and lays out well on small patterns. I've found the key to this is using a small amount and not overdoing it.

Big Light Flies

Reviewer: from Burlingame, CA

Great when you want bulk w/o much weight. This material in a fly will push a lot of water. Superhair is #1 go to for Saltwater flies, but this is 2nd. A must in your fly tying arsenal.
