Description

Our best priced metal winding check, manufactured for J. Stockard by Batson Enterprises. Available in 14 sizes and 2 high quality finishes. The aluminum winding checks with shiny gunsmoke finish have a knurled outer edge and compliment gunsmoke or pewter reel seats. Brass winding checks with a light TiCh plating have a smooth outer edge and closely match chrome or nickel silver reel seats. (Please note that it is difficult to fit metal winding checks. We suggest that you order the 2 sizes that are smaller than the rod butt to save extensive reaming.)

These winding checks add that little touch of class to the look of your grip. A well designed and manufactured item.

WOW!

Reviewer: A viewer from Nampa, ID US

I bought this for a custom rod I am building for a good friend. If you are thinking about using a rubber winding check don't. Excellent quailty in product, perfect fit, and boy did it dress up the rod. This will be my winding check choice in the future for any rods I build. A great value for the money

Again another excellent product sold by J Stockard. This gives a custom look to the rod at a very low cost. Will definately be buying more

Perfect finishing touch

Reviewer: A viewer from Nekoosa, WI US

With quality at this price, I couldn't resist getting one for each of my rods. If you order to match/compliment the realseat it really ties the butt end of your rod together. With a little patience not too hard to sand out using 60 grit sandpaper working up to 220 rolled in a cylinder.
