Not the best

Not very easy to dub by itself, works okay blended with rabbit or similar. I don't think it adds much in the way of weight, more like a bit of flash. I also was disappointed to find that the coloring seems to flake off the aluminum strips when wound on the thread, silver patches don't look so good on rusty crayfish patterns.
Not heavy but still good

While I will agree it doesnt add much weight I am still a fan of this dubbing. I use it a lot on woolly buggers with a lot of success. This stuff can create a nice smoothly dubbed body as well or a slightly buggy body if you pluck it out some.

This stuff is very thick. Each strand is shaped like a fine tinsel. It's difficult to dub on a hook, and clumps up easily. Plus, it feels like it's cutting into my fingertips when I work with it. Colors are good, though. But I gave mine away. It's usable on 'larger' nymphs, but only if you blend it with a natural fir to reduce it's propensity to ball up on the thread.
