This long, soft marabou-like material acts and moves like marabou and brings your flies to life. Can be mixed with strung fuzzy fibers or unique hair, or colors can be mixed. Good for musky, pike and saltwater patterns. The fibers are about 6" to 10" long.

This wool is the best I've seen! The quality is as god as ANY around the world. If your interests are in tying flies to catch huge fish, this is what you've been looking for. I WILL be buying much more of this stuff!

Great for redfish flies

Reviewer: A viewer from Rotonda West, FL US

Although hard to find, Icelandic sheep wool makes one of the best materials for tails on redfish flies. Tied near the hook bend, it won't foul, takes markers well, and comes alive in the water. Stock up today!

Great for big streamers!

I bought a few colors of this and some were nicer than others but overall very good. Great for large streamers and a good alternative to bucktail when tying Clouser minnows.

seductive movement

I love the way this hair moves in the water. It seems to come alive in the water when used in baitfish flies. The large patch of wool is enough for plenty of tying.

100+ flies from one patch.

Reviewer: A viewer from Granbury, TX US

I found alot of ways to use the wool. For example I have used it for everything that calls for bucktial, calftail, even for Synthetics this stuff moves great in the water and has a awsome flow to it too. And if you have been wanting to try your hand at woolhead flies it is ablast to do. It isnt that hard to ty the wool on and have enough for a good head what takes alittle time is the triming part but it is a fun learning curve as well.
