Good for Gotchas

Reviewer: A viewer from FORT COLLINS, CO USA

Got this because I couldn't find tan in the flat braid to tie up some different colored Gotchas. Works good for the body wrap, but a little harder to lay flat, you have to pull on it and still a little bulky. You also can't comb it out into individual strands, as it is one continuous strand weaved together. Good color, just limited in it's uses compared to flat braid.

Braid works great for bodies

Reviewer: A viewer from Wichita, KS US

I caught Bass & Blue Gill on the Rootbeer braid tied on the body of crazy charlies on size 10 & 8 hooks. Had to order more colors.

Great for Crystal Meth patterns

Reviewer: A viewer from Potter County, PA

I love this stuff for tying crystal meth patterns for great lakes steelhead. It's soft, so you can use a lighter thread and avoid making bulky flies.

Great for Northern Flies and more

Reviewer: A viewer from Round Rock, TX US

This material worked great for some flies I tied for Northern Pike fishing in Canada. I coated the body with 5 minute epoxy to produce a tough transparent finish that let the color and sparkle shine through. Caught several pike and the teeth barley made a dent in the body. I am going to try this technique out for some saltwater patterns.

Great material.

Great for Streamer Bodies

Reviewer: A viewer from State College, PA US

Love this stuff for doing bodies on streamers. Try using them for slumpbusters particularly. Nice flash, but not too flashy.
