Amazing Eyes

Reviewer: A viewer from St. Joseph, MO USA

They are very durable since they are solid brass. These eyes take a beating and keep on working.

These are great for clousers and stuff, but they get to be pretty expensive.

Better than bead chain eyes

Reviewer: A viewer from Valparaiso, IN US

Great eyes for smaller wooly buggers and I have now started using these instead of bead chain eyes for added weight. These eyes are very smooth with no sharp edges. They taper to a small diameter in the middle and that makes it easy to securely attach to the hook.

Durable and Effective

Reviewer: A viewer from San Antonio, TX US

These machined brass eyes are the perfect combination for streamer patterns fished in areas with rocky bottoms or heavy cover. Also great in saltwater patterns. The brass won't break, chip or lose their color like painted lead dumbbells.

very useful

Reviewer: A viewer from New Cumberland, PA US

These are very shiny plated hourglass eyes with a domed, not flat, eye surface. They are perfect for inverted bucktail and streamer ("clouser" style) patterns when you want a bit of flash but maybe not an "eye" on the pattern. One of the most fun uses is to tie the great Edson Tiger patterns using these instead of the hard-to-find or hard-to-make brass tabs on the original patterns. Use the gold Brass Eyes and tie the pattern upside-down on a long shank hook, with the bucktail extending just beyond the hook bend. A contemporary take on great classic patterns that are killer on trout and bass!
