Description

These are fine, translucent helical fibers that change the depth of tone from a deep - virtually radiant - hue that almost glows, to a lighter shade with a frosty sheen, depending on the angle of incident light. This mimics the reflection of light off natural bait fish, eliciting a predatory response from many saltwater species. Colors can be blended, using our assortments or picking your own, to make even more natural "3D" mixes. You can also mix in some Holo Chromosome, a flash material that adds even more life to the look in the same way the manufacturer creates with its Holo Fusion product. Packaged in hanks of fiber 7 1/2" long.

Other Details

Colors included in assortments : blue - iron blue, royal blue, sky blue, white; gray - polar, silver gray, iron blue, white; olive - sage, dark olive, medium olive, white; salmon - orange, pink, red, purple.

Very very nice

Very slinkly material that seems to blend with any other colors/materials you use in the fly. Has a lot of action in the water.

Very good when blended with other materials. The olive assortment is great for adding dorsals to baitfish patterns ansd threadfin imitations.

Good flash but Very Straight

Reviewer: from Burlingame, CA

I use this fish fiber on some of my saltwater flies. The stuff is very straight so will have a very defined layer in my flies. That can be good but EP fibers, super hair, and Fluoro fibers tend to blend better together in the fly. It is a lot courser than Angel hair. It has it's place. The pearl & white color are a must. The royal & iron blue is great for a minnow top. All give a life & flash to any fly. I own most all the colors.
