Amazing Thread

Reviewer: from Bourg, Louisiana US

This thread has been serving me very well. It builds a very good head on my Clousers and Charlie's. I love how wide the thread itself is: it lays flat on the shank, and you can take multiple wraps without worrying about the head getting too big. I will say this: make sure to coat the finished end in Hard as Nails or the equivalent: toothy fishies will fray it

3/0 Monocord

Good, strong thread. Can really cinch down on a whip finish hard. Great for my small mouth streamers. Spins deer hair nice. Will buy more.

pretty strong!

Reviewer: from Shakopee, MN US

I have used this thread on numerous patterns since I bought it. It's nice adn strong adn can take the pressure that is necessary when I tie spun deer hair bodies that require quite a bit of tork to get them right. Although the thread is much too heavy for dry flies and smaller wets.

classic and still unbeatable

Reviewer: from Alpha, NJ US

When it comes to a 3/0 thread you just simply can not beat monocord. It has incredible strength, raps nice and even, doesn't fray like other 3/0s, and dubs easily. Simply the best. I use it on all my large wet fly pattern 0-12. Price is unbeatable also.

Good strength for spinning

Reviewer: from Little Elm, TX US

I have used this for spinning deer hair. It holds well and is strong enough to really tighten up while you are spinning the hair without breaking. Lays down well and makes a nice and neat head when you are finished.
