Improved hookup rates?
Reviewer: A viewer from Douglassville, PA US
I decided to try these for a couple of reasons ...
1. To make tying easier on my fat fingers
2. Thought I might see improved hookups in the smaller sizes.
I think these are a winner on both counts.
Daiichi 1130 Wide Gape Scud Hook

Sharp & wide. Excellent substitute for 1160 Klinkhamer Hook, they lighter! My Klinkhamer dry fly remained dry for longer. I have not tried them on the water, I hope this is a strong hook!

These hooks come with a warning on them about how sharp they are, good thing i debarb them before i tie. My thumb slipped when i was pressing some thread back and wham right into my index finger. These hooks are extremely sharp, and stay sharp, these hooks are worth the money.
