Take note that the colors are exactly as the picture shows so I've found that using brown wire for ribbing on brown dubbing doesn't provide much contrast so buy lots of differnt colors. In nymphs it looks good and in bigger patterns where you don't want to see it as much it still works good. Nice and strong material also! Unfortunatly, the new tyer (like myself) will need to learn a light hand when using this wire, or else be faced with the frustration of breaking it every 4 turns or so! I tie this same pattern today using the wire as both weight, building the thorax, and as "tying thread". Wire offers many possibilities to the fly tyer and Wapsi Ultra Wire is definately affordable.
