In addition to the "lazy curl", each fibre is cut quite narrow, and the thin material from which it is made has a nice reflective texture that is similar to, but smaller in scale than, Krystal Flash. I find that I can tie a small bunch in place and achieve the look of a lot of bulk, which is retained when the fly hits the water, without actually having a lot of bulk.
