They do foul up some on the hook - but a simple comb will straighten them out right away again. The HUGE bonus is that these fibers are UNBELIEVEBLY easy to cast - they shed the water on the first backcast making them easy and light to use, and cast with precision. Now you don't have to be scared of big flies that feel like you are throwing a wet sock. EP fibers make all the difference in the world when you are going big. The bass also attack clousers tied with EP Fibers. You can use it sparingly and it flows well in the water for a synthetic but is not limp or stiff (just right). It reminds me of kiptail though it's translucent. It is thin enough you can build small heads as well. Great material!
