The card backing makes trimming very easy. It can make some very realistic tapered abdomens. Since it is a sheet you can cut the width and taper as you would prefer. Because of this feature it seems to have some advantages over fixed diameter lace products. I find it a bit on the pricey side for the amount that you receive.
