It does take some practice, but once you get the hang of rolling the eggs, then there is no turning back. A lot of glue sticks are out there, but hareline produces some of the best, and they hold the color extremely well. I would suggest "orange roe" and "champagne" to mimic Brownies and then Steelies. And where else are you going to find these prices?? In a fly shop they will charge you $2.50 to $3 each package of 4 -- J. Stockard FF is basically giving it away at $1.85 - SO STOCK UP!!
