I really like this dubbing. Especially the UV gray when it gets wet it has a really pretty purple in it. Even when I try to grab just a little tiny bit it seems like I'm always having to pull a bit of it off because it seems to just expand upon the thread. Have I mentioned that I really like this Ice dubbing?

This is mighty difficult to dub in the "traditional" way... check out a relatively newer DVD from this guy named Don Ordes, "Rope dubbing with Don Ordes" and it will change the way that you tie forever - really! Not affiliated, just a happy user, but it made Ice Dub change from a "Do I hafta use this" to a "I want to use this!" product for me.

This dubbing has great color and flash but I have found that it does not take to the thread as easily as other dubbing.

I use the different color blacks to tie stonefly patterns and i really like the caddis green color for my small nymphs, i like the way it takes to the thread and it only takes a pinch and thats all you need great flash also.

Works great for those "buggy" nymph patterns and has good color and flash. It's a little bit harder to work with than other dubbing but it's worth the purchase.
