Odered this reel and the spare spool. Items are very nice and cost less than some of the name brands. The drag system works very well and can be adjusted very quickly with lttle effort.

5 out of 5 stars Landed many a steelhead 00/00/0000
Reviewer: George Krebs (george@penndel.org) from Mechanicsburg, PA US
I have this reel mounted on my 8wt rod. This was my first steelhead outfit 2 & 1/2 years ago. The adjustable drag works like a champ. I thought I would upgrade if I caught Steelhead fever. I got the fever, but stayed with this reel. I landed 2 big steelies (15-20 minute fight in heavy current) last Saturday and this reel worked great. I must admit, it does not look like a high quality reel (composite material), but it surprises every steelhead who takes it on.
