The VT2 Series offers medium–fast action blanks with a light, sensitive feel and an incredibly smooth power curve for faster line speed and easier casting. Each blank is finished in glossy metallic kingfisher blue and carries Sage’s lifetime, original owner warranty. Your kit also includes your choice of fine reel seats with meticulously finished wood or aluminum bodies, matching guide set, tip top, hookkeeper and winding check, and a high quality cork grip plus a spool of Gudebrod rod wrapping thread. With help and advice from the J.Stockard service department I have completed several rods and am quite proud to say I've been given many compliments on my rods from other Anglers on the streams of western NC and eastern TN. I recentely completed a Sage rod which, with the advice of the service Dept at J.Stockard, turned out not only to be a beautiful rod but very functional.
