The blanks feature a relaxed medium–fast action, creating a rod with superb power and a smooth, light feel in the hand, and are the same blanks used in St. Croix Avid Series rods. They are presented in a stealth gray matte finish. Your kit also comes with your choice of fine reel seats with meticulously finished wood inserts; a tip top, hookkeeper, winding check and a set of single foot or snake guides in a matching finish; and a high quality cork grip. Also included is a spool of black nylon Gudebrod rod wrapping thread. (Details of reel seat and guide choices are shown after you select your blank length and weight.)
