I had to adjust the rod rest just once. Making sure there wasn't any interferance with the previously wrapped guides. I would recommend this bench and tool kit for the first rod wapper. Due to ongoing frustrations, I bought the J. Stockard Rod Building Bench. It works flawlessly! The tension device is very easy to use and a great asset! Fully recommend!
