U–40’s Color Lock is designed to compliment their Perma Gloss. A water based compound that locks in the original color of the thread, it will even maintain the original luster of gold thread. Very easy to apply and the brushes can be cleaned in tap water. Maintains its superb luster indefinitely. May be used under ANY finish. Available in 1 or 4 oz. sizes.

I have tried several Brands of Color Preserver, mainly to do "feather inlays". One brand turned everything white and left a ton of "residue"!! Other brands do not hold the color, and are to "milky" to work with. U-40 Color Lock is the ONLY Preserver I will use!! Whether its for "feather inlays" or guide wraps (thread) you just cant beat this stuff!!
