Customer Review: Number Of Reviews: 3 49 of 106 people found the following review helpful: Great Finish, IF handled correctly!! 00/00/0000 Reviewer: A viewer from Heber, UT US This finish is terrific, I use it mainly for feather inlays, and I put a few coats on my guide wraps before the Epoxy. I only gave it 3 stars because it is "activated" by air. So you have to be VERY careful not to leave the bottle open but only for a short time!!! If it is left open to long, or the cap/lid isnt put on tight the finish will dry in the bottle Quick!!! I learned this the hard way!! My first time using it on a build, I ended up buying 3 bottles for 1 single Rod build! 1 bottle will do several rods, but it has to be kept air tight!! Other than that this finish is awesome!! Works for "sealing" feather inlays, putting a few coats on guide wraps before epoxy will seal the wrap and "lock" the thread in place. And you can even wipe it on an entire "flat finish" blank to give it a "Glossy" finish!! If you don't want a huge buildup of finish on your wraps but want them to be sealed this is the stuff. I put 5-10 coats on and it drys very fast and puts a shine like no other. The best part is no mixing needed just use straight out of the bottle.
