I used the crimson/black Classic Twist on a customer rod and loved it enough to put it on one for myself. The black thread forms intricate swirls and stripes on the wraps and is not visible until you really look closely at it. It lets you wow folks with the detail. Only other point is that it seems to have more texture than the plain Gudebrod thread, so it holds air bubbles where you didn't see them initially. Use your heat and multiple coats of finish...
