This is a very nice looking thread, the quality is also nice. My only complant would be that the shell somtimes slides off when finishing a wrap, but this can be avoided if you are gental and patient.

This thread looks great as a main wrap or accent, and as long as you are aware of the possibility of the core separating from the outer sheath it is easy to use and looks great on the rod.

Hi out there, I used the Gudebrod HT Metallic Thread on my last rod I built. I used Royle Blue and Red. After I applied the finish coat the thread shined. The but wrap turned out fantastic.

This metallic thread is a bit more difficult to use than the regular Gudebrod thread. I like to use it to accent the main wraps with a few twists at the tip. If you decide to use this thread to do an entire wrap then make sure that you do not use to much tension on the thread. If you do then it will fray and have to be redone.
