Product Overview:

Flex Coat is often the choice of professional rod builders who appreciate the extended pot life and self–leveling properties of this finish. The Ultra V High Build Wrap Finish formula provides a professional finish in just one coat and offers added UV protection. Available in 3 choices of packages — 2 oz. kit has color coded syringes and 1 oz. each of resin and hardener; 4 oz. size has 2 oz. each of resin and hardener in squeeze bottles with nozzle caps (no syringes in this size); and a 2 oz. super kit with color coded syringes, 4 finishing brushes, 4 mixing cups and 4 mixing sticks.

Other Details:

The 4 oz. size is the original formula, not Ultra UV.

Flex coat is easy to mix and the syringes keep me from making a mess. The coat goes on easy and builds up a very nice finish. Keep rotating the rod to keep from dripping until it sets up.

What more can you say.Great product.The High Build is a little more forgiving for the new wrapper.Will help to hide a not so perfectly smooth wrap.Good stuff.

I like using the high build because I like a thicker coat of epoxy on my wraps. You can also thin it out by heating it with a lighter 3-4 inches away if the epoxy has been mixed for a while and is losing workability. But Flexcoat makes a great product just make sure you take care in mixing equal amounts of both parts and mix them well
