Stockard Fly Rod. The tube is durable, economical and good–looking. It is constructed with a sturdy black PVC tube covered with green Cordura, a heavy synthetic fabric that will stand up to years of handling and scuffing. One end of the tube has a hinged fabric closure with a zipper and the other end is covered with a heavy black plastic cap. The tube ends are padded inside with soft foam as extra protection for your rod. Each tube now comes with a durable J. Stockard luggage tag for added security and easy identification. The cloth rod sock has pockets of graduated widths for each rod section, with sewn partitions between pockets. The sock has black–trimmed edges and black cloth ties to keep the bundled rod secure. Available configured for 2 and 4 piece rods. The 2 piece tubes are 1½&Pirme; I.D. and the 4 piece tubes are 2″ I.D. Other Details: Rod tubes for 7′ length 2 piece rods are 2″ diameter.
