Product Overview:

Permanent marker for inscriptions on rod blanks or most other surfaces: paper, glass, plastic, photos, etc. Makes a line approximately 1mm (1/25″) wide. Ideal for decorating, illustration and identification. The writing can be protected with a coat or two of rod finish. Choose from gold or silver.

I'd hate to see how wide a non-Xfine wrote. I guess I could be using the thing wrong but it's only a marker. I have to write so big on the blank for the words to be legible I don't think I'll ever actually use them. The colors are nice and from what others have said about the ink it's good quality. Maybe you can get it to work better than I can.

This is a great pen to use, but beware - it does not write as fine as expected. If the thickness of your inscription is not an issue, then this is a fantastic product.
