Product Overview: These orthodontic latex rubber bands are a handy alternative to guide adhesive or masking tape for holding guides, especially single foot guides, in place on the rod blank while beginning the wrap. Once the wrap covers most of the foot so the guide is secure, you can cut the rubber band to remove it and finish the wrap. The pure latex elastics are available in either 3/16″ inside diameter (before stretching) with a force of 4.5 oz. or a lightweight 1/8″ size with 2.5 oz. force. Was I ever surprized. These things are awesome. Cuts my wrapping time in half. No problems with the wraping the first guide through the last. No masking tape to remove as I wrap in fact you have almost every inch of the wrap done and then cut the rubber band off.
