Ideal for taper reaming cork and synthetic grips. Choose from fine, medium or coarse grit in 3 different diameters. NOTE: These reamers are intended as hand tools only; they will be damaged if used with a drill or other mechanical device. Other Details: The diameters of the wands do not include the thickness added by the abrasive, and they tend to run large. We recommend the small size if you have a light to medium weight blank, the middle size if you have a heavy weight blank, and the large size if you have a spey blank. After buying two files (one too large, one too small)I saw and ordered this product from J. Stockard. These make very quick work of the grip fitting process. Don't waste your time(or money) on files. This is the only tool you will need for fitting cork grips. They are two big, even the small one. I'd hate to see what the big one is like. The abrasive comes off to easily also. I ended up tapering a wood dowel and gluing 100 grit sand paper to it and it works well. I will say once I get the hole big enough the abrasive stuff makes short work of the cork.
