SKU: OF-903540-0000 Product Overview: The automatic bobbin is a giant step toward Norlander’s goal to "tie better flies faster". This bobbin rewinds thread automatically, yet will stop rewinding when it is released. The auto–rewind feature is especially helpful with the Nor–Vise, which has the bobbin rest about 14″ away from the vise jaws, making thread rewinding a common procedure. The bobbin uses interchangeable machined metal spools that hold from 50 to 500 yards of your thread; the spools can be loaded with a spooling arbor (included) on an electric drill. As with all Nor–Vise accessories, the bobbin and spools are meticulously crafted of stainless steel and aluminum. The kit includes an automatic bobbin, 3 additional spools and a spooling arbor for winding thread onto a spool with an electric drill.
