5 out of 5 stars I won't need a 3rd vise 10/10/2009
Reviewer: Chris Tilson (chris@tilson.com) from Dallas, TX US
I am very happy with this vise. I purchased it with the D-arm and brass screw kit. I only used the rotary tension screw. The bobbin rest looks better with the standard nylon screw. ... This is my second rotary vise. The cam operated jaws are a nice change. The hook grabbing power is better than screw operated jaws. ... I only wish I had ordered the pedistal rather than the c-clamp model. The c-clamp should have won several design awards. It is very nice, but is too large for holding a fly vise. The 3/8" bolt seems strong enough to hold a shop vise. I am using an old c-clamp and have the Peak clamp decorating a shelf.

5 out of 5 stars Hard to beat 04/03/2009
Reviewer: Daniel Doyle from Peyton, CO US
I've been using this vise for about a year now, and I'm as happy with it today as when I first purchased it. After about 500 to 600 flies, it still holds the hooks securely. There is no evidence of grooves developing in the jaws. I have tied down to 24, and most often size 20 hooks with the standard jaws. However, I have recently purchased the midge jaws to to allow more clearance around the hook. I would recommend this vise to any serious tier. You'll will not be disappointed.

4 out of 5 stars PEAK VISE IS WELL WORTH THE MONEY 00/00/0000
Reviewer: RICK DEMARS (RDEMARSJR@STNY.RR.COM) from BINGHAMTON, NY US
THIS VISE OFFERS MANY HIGH DOLLAR FEATURES FOR A REASONABLE PRICE. I HAVE BEEN USING MINE DAILY FOR ALMOST A YEAR AND I AM VERY PLEASED. THE CONSTRUCTION IS SOLID AND STURDY, THE ROTARY MOVEMENT IS SMOOTH. IT IS EASILY ADJUSTABLE AND THE STANDARD JAWS WILL HOLD HOOKS DOWN TO 24 EASILY. THE RISER, ROTARY HANDLE, AND BRASS SCREWS ARE ALL WORTH GETTING. FINALLY THEY DO STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS, THE JAWS ON MY VISE WERE STICKING, I CALLED AND THEY SENT NEW ONES IN LESS THAN A WEEK. THEY ALLOWED ME TO SEND BACK THE OLD JAWS AFTER I RECEIVED THE REPLACEMENTS SO I HAD NO DOWN TIME IN TYING.

5 out of 5 stars The Best at any Price! 00/00/0000
Reviewer: Richard Deadrick (rdeadrick@comcast.net) from McGaheysville, VA US
I had the good fortune to purchase a Peak Rotary Vise several months ago. I replaced a Renzetti Vise that was not cam operated. As I looked at the available vise products from A to Z, I discovered that the best price/performance vise on the market today was the Peak. This is the best thought out vise I have ever seen and it is a pleasure to use it. It performs just like the manufacturer tells you and in my judgment, it has no shortcomings. If you are investing in a vise, you will not be disappointed in the performance of the Peak. Frankly, this vise should sell for twice the money since it performs better than most. The quality, fit and finish is exceptional. The materials are the best. And the function, engineering and design are second to none. From the best C-Clamp to the best Pedestal this vise is engineered. Don't spend a dime more on more expensive, well advertised vises, because you will be wasting your money. I recommend this vise to anyone who ties just a little or to anyone who ties a lot.

5 out of 5 stars Peak rotary vise 00/00/0000
Reviewer: Jason Roed (jayroed@juno.com) from Monroe, WA US
I would easily recommend this vise to anyone. This vise has great fly holding power. Its base is perfectly weighted in order to keep things under control when tying. This vise is my first upgrade in vises. I compared it to other vises and found this one to be the best, especially for the price it is at. It would not surprise me to see these vises become more one of the more spendy vises in a few years once people see the high quality at which these are made and the demand goes up. Overall great vise, rotary is nice and smooth and a great vise for a beginner or an expert.
