>>> Correct material lacking to tie flies as instructions depict in the manual provided with the kit <<< It’s been years since I’ve tied a fly...anyone remember Herter’s? Anyway, truly anxious to get back into tying my own flies, I opened the Basic Fly Tying Manual, provided in the kit by Cascade Crest Tools, and attempted to tie the first illustration of an olive Wooly Bugger. Couldn’t do it! Kit did not supply the correct color material for an olive Wooly Bugger. It was not possible to tie any typical Wooly Bugger, even a simple all black Wooly Bugger. The correct material for tying the fly in the second illustration, a Midge, was lacking from the kit also. I might offer to search the web for sights that provide illustrations, pictorials, and lists of material to be successful and efficient in tying flies.
