Just build up a couple of layers and you're good to go. If it thickens up in the bottle just add a couple of drops of tap water and it thins right out. Not only being able is it a water-based product where you don't get those chemical fumes dissipating everywhere, it gives a very nice finish on the heads of your flies. All you have to do is either use the brush applicator that comes with the product or use a needle to apply it onto the fly head for a great finish.
