These ½ spey rooster saddles have wispy feathers up to 6″ long that resemble craft fur, except they move better in the water. Great for streamers, buggers, teasers and leeches — or any fly where length and action are essential. Other Details: Most dyed–over–white colors are being discontinued, and new dyed–over–badger colors are being introduced (coming soon). Dyed black may be substituted for natural black. It works very well at all. The colouring is enduring, the stem is fine enough for palmering at the upper part of the feathers so I am very pleased. With longer fibers, you can't go wrong. It has pheonominal action in the water and is very simple to tie with.
