Single foot guides cut the number of wraps almost in half, reducing the weight of the rod near the tip where it is most critical and allowing the rod to flex as freely as possible. For these reasons, single foot guides are especially well suited to lightweight rods. Of course, some people just like the look they give to a fly rod! The stripping guides of this set are double footed and feature Hardloy aluminum oxide rings. All guides have high quality, durable finishes and pre–ground feet. A tip top is NOT included. Offered in a choice of 3 finishes (gunsmoke finish is darker, like pewter) to match J. Stockard reel seats, and 13 choices of blank weight/length.
