They are available in all aluminum or with Pacific Bay’s proprietary Dynawood™ insert in rosewood. Dynawood, a resin–impregnated wood, has exceptional density and is extremely resistant to moisture and temperature extremes. The reel seat is also available with either a machined hood or recessed hood. The overall length is 3.9″ (100 mm), the recessed hood is oblong and has a maximum outside diameter of 0.813″ and the wood inserts’ inside diameter is 0.62″ (15.7 mm) for all aluminum or 0.453″ (11.5 mm) for the Dynawood. The A6 features a rubber O-ring embedded in front of the lock nut for secure locking, and a flat milled body for positive reel placement. Comes assembled, end cap sold separately.
